Enter Power Inserter Specifications

1. From the spec menu, select Devices > Power Inserters > New Series.
2. The New Power Inserter Series dialog box opens.

   

3. Enter the series Name and Mfg., manufacturer.
   Note: Maximum of 4 series with a maximum of 6 models each.
4. Click Add.
5. The Power Inserter Attributes dialog box opens.

   

6. Enter a model Name, Part #, Cost, and maximum current at the input and output port.
7. Select the Cell to represent this device.
8. Select the Power Port check box adds an additional power output to the inserter that can be used to connect to another device with a power port (inserter or tap) via a power jumper from the power jumper command.
9. Enter a Step Down Voltage value if necessary.
10. Enter Loss levels for each frequency.
11. Click Add to save a new entry or Update to update an existing power inserter.
12. To define additional power inserters, select New/Edit > New Model.
